Kobe demands to be traded….I’m going to puke May 30, 2007

I just read Kobe demands to be traded. I feel like I’ve been raped, kicked in the balls and told my wife has been cheating on me all at the same time. Listen here Kobe and you listen good. I don’t care how pissed you are at losing, you don’t leave me…EVER, YOU HEAR ME! I feeling quite stalkish right now, I’m liable to go single white female on you if you don’t shut your mouth, put on a Laker uniform and score 80 points every game from here on out.

I don’t know how to cope with this. I think I have to pretend I’ve never heard of the Lakers, I don’t follow basketball, I haven’t been a fan my entire life, I haven’t stuck by a cold hearted rapist through thick and thin…..why God?!?!? WHY!!!!! (I’m honestly crying right now….no joke)

I couldn’t agree more with this comment on the story:

1. Trading Kobe is just plain stupid.2. I find it pretty funny that after all of the bashing Kobe takes, year in and year out, that every fan of every team in the league is now dreaming of adding the greatest player in the game to their squad.3. I will now shoot myself. In the face.

I’m with you pal…I’m with you.

Some have asked why I don’t talk about my family’s business(Main Squeeze) on this blog. The reason is I’d rather keep this just my personal play pen, everything in my life is wrapped up in the business, must my blog be too??? sheeeeeesh. Anyway, we recently setup www.litpathinc.com as our business blog. Lit Path Inc. is our corporation that owns Main Squeeze. So go check it out, it will be updated with news on the business front as well as some entertaining customer stories and random stuff. It won’t be a stuffy business blog.

This 11yr old snot nose kid shot this monster with a pistol! It upsets me that with this single shot this kid has at least doubled my man points at almost 20 years my junior.

Muslim version of “The View” discussing why wife beating is ok May 11, 2007

I must say as much as I disagree with wife beating this guy really has a good point at the end. Sage advice and it really tugs at my heart strings. If I come home after a long hard day at work and my wife is watching tv and doesn’t get up to make my food, she’s effectively forced me to slap her and she should be ashamed of herself. I dunno…I’m conflicted on this one.

One thing I’m completely convinced of though is that the oppression, the bondage, the selfishness and the lack of justice present here is in stark contrast to Christ. Please nobody ever compare the 2 (Rosie).  Just watch the video and be appalled.

For my money, there’s no person on the planet with a better mix of intelligence, comedic chops and political insight than Dennis Miller. I’ve loved everything he’s done really, but now that he’s getting more and more into the political world I’ve really come to appreciate his insight. He lays down common sense like none other. Check out his radio show online when you get a chance.

Building relationship and trust in Iraq May 1, 2007

Iraqi children love American soldiersGreat dispatch from Michael Yon on the progress this surge is having in developing trust and relationship with Iraqi’s. A lot of wonderful pictures as well.

Something that escapes people here in the US and certainly our democrat lead congress is that Iraqi’s want the US to stay and solidify their country.

“Despite so much bad news, much of which I deliver, it’s heartening that most of the Iraqis are not fearful of Americans. What many Iraqis REALLY want—and they say it clearly—is to communicate directly with Americans at home.”

I think that would be powerful. Setup a town hall in Iraq with a live video feed to the US. Why can’t we let them talk directly to us? Let them explain that when the American forces come into town, people move back into their homes, we rebuild their schools, clean their trash and push out terrorists that have murdered their family members. I think the most heartening thing I read is that it’s clear the terrorist tactic of killing innocence and hoping the civilians blame the US, isn’t working. Iraqi’s aren’t dumb, they know what the score is. I just wish our leadership in congress knew what the Iraqi’s know.

Mars going through Global Warming, Al Gore livid at Marsians May 1, 2007

Scientists have discovered that Mars is going through a climate change that is similar to the one we are experiencing here on Earth. It’s believed Mars could lose is polar ice caps. The report reluctantly states the obvious,

“Since there is no known life on Mars it suggests rapid changes in planetary climates could be a natural phenomena.”

What’s funny to me is that it takes evidence from Mars to realize this when we have at least 3 examples of this here on Earth. Earth has had at least 3 ice ages followed by rapid periods of warming. Why need we look to Mars? Just read a history book. Never the less, if it takes yet another obvious example of why human caused global warming is a ridiculous notion, here it is.

I’d like to believe Al Gore is preparing a statement in response, but as Al said, “the debate is over”. He’s stopped listening to any reasonable arguments, all facts are off the table. Now it’s just his gut and the passions of his followers to lead this country in its eco-friendly crusade. Boy, that just makes me feel so good.

Now why would Mars be going through a similar warming as Earth, what do we have in common. Humvees? oil refineries? clear cutting forrests? no…ah yes…the sun! The big flaming ball of fire in the sky which is responsible for heating our planets.
