Pruthviraj Patil, an 11yr old boy, has suffered from hypertrichosis since he was born. Hypertrichosis is a rare genetic condition known as Werewolf Syndrome and it’s believed only 50 people in the entire world suffer from it. They have tried laser treatments to remove the hair but it just keeps growing back.

annie - “very creative’?!?!?!
Lady this is real!

That’s quite the social stigma, but otherwise not too bad.
I wonder how fast the hair grows back.
I imagine it’s curable, but encountered so infrequently that not much time has been spent researching it.

Anyway he’s much better off than Tree Man

or Harlequin babies.

Poor kid. Laser hair removal is not as permanent as electrolysis, although it’s more popular. I expect they just need to connect with the right practitioner.
