Our Rising Sound has posted part 1 of a video interview with John Mark McMillan, author of “How He Loves”.

This guy Emmanuelle Chriqui made a short film of Baron Davis doing some slick rollerskating 80s style to New Edition. I don’t know why but I find this video way funnier than it probably is.

I’m a huge Beatles fan, can’t stand cheesy American Idol kiddy pop. But this little kid, who’s like 16, blew me away. First of all the he had the ballz to change a John Lennon melody. Although maybe that’s not surprising, he’s so young he probably has no sense of the sacrilegious nature of that act. But secondly the he had the ability to actually pull this off. Really really impressive. Skip to the 1:00 mark.

Just though I’d let you know about a new blog that I created and am moderating and contributing to.
